Aninha is in the process of being initiated into the Quero shamanic lineage by Marti Spiegelman, MFA, with whom she has been studying cross-cultural shamanism for the past six years. During this time she has primarily focused on Andean and West African traditions. She is particularly interested in the impact that reconnecting with ancient shamanic wisdom can have on individuals and the world.

Aninha holds a BA in Psychology, and is certified in hypnotherapy, massage therapy, and the Hendrick’s Body-Centered Therapy. She received her training in Visionary Craniosacral from the Milne Institute, and has assisted in classes for the institute. Other influences include the Diamond Heart School and Continuum Movement.
