Desiree is a generous and present healer whose passion is to share the transformative understanding of life that vedic wisdom has to offer. She has been practicing Ayurveda since graduating from the California College of Ayurveda in 2003.  Her studies led her to earn her yoga teacher certificate at the Shivananda Ashram in Nassau, Bahamas. 

She apprenticed with Alakananda Ma of the Alandi Ayurvedic Clinic in Boulder Colorado where she also managed the Ayurveda and Pancha Karma Clinics. Since moving to the Bay Area in 2005 she has been studying with Hart de Fouw and the Vedic Vidya Institute in San Rafael, CA.  Here she studies Sanskrit, Yoga Sutras, Jyotisha (Indian Astrology and Astronomy), Hasta Samudrika (Indian Palmistry) and Vastu (Indian feng shui).

Desiree believes in the healing power of touch and holds a certificate in massage therapy and energy work. She aims to make each healing session personalized to serve the many layers of your being.
